Damage and Service-Concern Reporting
Customers should inspect the vehicle at pickup. A concern involving workmanship, property, or vehicle condition should be reported within 48 hours of pickup or, for an issue that could not reasonably be discovered within that period, promptly after discovery. The report should include the customer’s name, appointment date, vehicle information, a description, and clear photographs. The customer must preserve the condition and allow Shades of Black Tint a reasonable opportunity to inspect before another person repairs, removes, alters, or cleans the affected area. The 48-hour reporting request helps preserve evidence but does not eliminate rights that cannot lawfully be limited.
Service Refusal and Safety
Shades of Black Tint may refuse or stop service when a requested installation appears unlawful; the vehicle is unsafe or inaccessible; dangerous materials, pests, weapons, threats, harassment, or abusive conduct are present; required authorization is missing; or continuing would create an unreasonable risk to people or property. Charges and deposit treatment will depend on the reason service cannot proceed and the work already authorized or performed.
Policy Updates
These policies may be updated as services, technology, law, or business practices change. The version posted on the website when an appointment is booked will generally apply to that appointment, except where a later change is required by law or is more favorable to the customer. Material changes will be identified by a revised effective date.
